Our village hall has done excellent service for Church Eaton since it was given to the village by Mary Wyley in 1892. There have been many modifications to bring it in line with the needs of the day and once again we are looking at what the village needs in 2010 and beyond. Let us have your comments and ideas here.

I believe that it has been muted that the stage should be removed. I personally think this is a short sighted thing to do. Within the next three months a variety of village groups/individuals are hiring the hall to run events that require the stage being in place. By removing the stage these people may look elsewhere for a suitable hall.
Why not call a public meeting to find out the views of the village? It would be a catastrophe for the stage to be removed and the hall be used less than it is currently.
